Heartbreaking: Handsome Corps Member Dies In Fatal Road Accident Involving A Trailer In Kaduna (Photos)

A promising member of the National Youth Service corps has died an unfortunate death after the motorcycle he was riding on was involved in an accident with a trailer.

A serving member of the National Youth Service corps, Oyeleke Ajani has died in a fatal road accident involving a trailer and a motorcycle in Kaduna state.
Ajani, a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria died on the spot alongside the motorcycle rider. The sad incident took place on Thursday.
Confirming the accident, the Kaduna Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC said the accident happened around 2 p.m by Lagos Garage Road, Mando, along Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway, Kaduna.
“Our findings revealed that the corps member, a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and the motorcycle rider were riding against traffic heading to Mando from Kawo bridge.
“The rider lost control and jammed into a trailer coming from the opposite direction, killing the two instantly,” he explained.
He added that the victims’ bodies had been deposited at the morgue of Barrau Dikko Hospital, Kaduna.
“The accident caused serious traffic gridlock; it took the intervention of Kaduna state government and Mando FRSC rescue teams to clear the road,” he added.
The commander advised people to desist from driving against traffic, stressing that such behaviour could lead people to untimely death. Friends of Ajani took to Facebook to mourn his loss.

Obaji Etaba added: “We went, saw and conquered the hurdles in Vet School. At the time when we should be enjoying the fruits of our labour, the cold hands of death took u away. May your gentle soul RIP DR AJANI OYELEKE EMMANUEL.”
